Musee d'Orsay, Musee Rodin and garden, Les Invalides and Napoleon's tomb, shopping and lunch in the the 6th at Bon Marches, Rue de Rennes.
Paris through the lens of art
Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime experience of two weeks in Paris, curated by Widener's Paris expert Dr Olivier Brachat. M. Brachat is a renowned physician, historian, artist, and linguist and has spent his entire life living in Paris where he practices as a dermatologist.

He is experienced in taking tours in Paris, Egypt, Myanmar, and throughout France and Europe. He is joined by Tom Jamieson, one of Widener's founders, to take the tour through Paris's most famous and important museums. Tom has written extensively on art history, and one of his specialities is the art of the early 20th Century in France.

Tour participants will visit all of Paris's major museums, including the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, and the Pompidou Centre, as well as some less well known museums like Musee Ossip Zadkine at the top of the Luxembourg Gardens, and Palais de Tokio, near the Eiffel Tower.

Along the way, the history of Paris will be unwrapped, from the hidden Roman amphitheatre in the 5th arrondissement, to the medieval Musee de Cluny, to the most modern buildings of the Marais, culminating on the art movements of the late 20th century found in the Pompidou Centre.
